Their photo
Send a few clear photos and your child turns into the main character, drawn right into the illustrations. Family photos can find their way into the chapters too.

Your child becomes the hero!
Their photo. Their name. Their story. We turn your little one, and the things they love, into a beautifully illustrated book that is theirs and nobody else’s.

What makes it theirs
Three little things that make a book feel like magic
Every page is built around one special child. No templates with a name stuck on. Just their face, their world and their adventure.
Their name
Their name on the cover and all through the story. Watching a child find their own name in a real book is the best part.
Their theme
Unicorns, superheroes, super cars, Diwali, travel, or something only your child would think of. Any theme they love can become their story.
Two ways to tell their story
Stories they read. Pages they colour.
Choose a personalised storybook with illustrated chapters where your child is the hero, or a personalised colouring book where they colour in their very own adventure.
- Illustrated chapters starring your child
- Line-art pages made for little hands to colour
- Festive editions for Diwali, Dussehra and more
- Perfect for birthdays and return gifts
Meet the founder
Big ideas come in tiny packages.
Colour My Story was started by Mrinalika Kathuria, or MK, a 7-year-old kidpreneur. Her idea is simple: every child deserves to be the hero of their own story.
She knows what kids like because she is one. That’s why the books feel playful, bright and personal. They are designed by a kid, for kids, and they come with a lot of help and love from her family behind the scenes.

Love from Kashmir

The books you’ve provided to my three year old daughter are very amazing. We all loved them the most. The picture quality and the content is so much relevant that we are truly overwhelmed.
